Preview: Cuban Cowboy Podcast Returns

The no-budget Cuban Cowboy Podcast makes it’s triumphant return! After doing a few interviews with no-name minor leaguers it just occurred that some of those no-names messed around and became big leaguers. We even had a Angeles Lakers point guard on the show, we just didn’t know it at the time.
After doing a few interviews with no-name minor leaguers it just occurred that some of those no-names messed around and became big leaguers. We even had a Angeles Lakers point guard on the show, we just didn’t know it at the time.
The best example being Tim Locastro. At the time he was a Double-A infielder in the Los Angeles Dodgers. Now he is an outfielder for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The starting catcher for the Toronto Blue Jays was once a guest on the podcast talking about his love of Chipotle.
So the podcast is getting back to that. No music, no introductions, just me talking to minor league players that will hopefully find their way into the big leagues. It’s really a 10-25 minute interview series but podcast sounds better.
The first four interviews are already lined up: Marlins prospects Jordan Holloway, Braxton Garrett and Andrew Turner and Colorado Rockies prospect Coco Montes. The next two months will cover the Gulf Coast League, the starting point for most pro baseball players. I also cover MLB and NFL in Miami. If I can get 10 minutes with a player it’s going into the podcast.
As a preview of what to expect, heres quick interview about when and how Marlins outfielder Austin Dean proposed to his girlfriend during the offseason. Spoiler alert: she said yes.
